biblical vs society
Saw this in a forum and find it interesting...
What do you say? Does it mean the bible is getting less relevant as our society evolves?
the bible says that women are suppose to keep silent in church, now there are more and more women pastors around
What do you say? Does it mean the bible is getting less relevant as our society evolves?

Is religion something that is consistent? Rock-solid, never changes even as the society progresses? Or something which is under man's control, bound to change to suit a society's needs. So, is man or God in control?

the bible doesn't change, but the people who interpret it changed, and so the interpretation changes.
As to who is in control, that's quite sensitive. Ever heard of demigod? (then we can drag to cloning and etc)

so religion is but a matter of interpretation, how people interpret "rules" and words becomes their beliefs...
