gelato with little gal

Was walking with little gal at Ngee Ann City's Chinese New Year fair at basement 2, then bump into this Venezia Gelato stall. I tell you any kids will go mad when they see the colourful ice cream in the fridge, so don't bring any kids near! (no, little girl was quite normal) Both of us have never tried Gelato before, and it seems to be quite popular recently, so we decided to give it a try.

The girl maning the stall was very sweet!! She has that super sweet voice that is worth every penny you are paying for the gelato. So we were asking her what each flavour tastes like, and she enthusiastically introduced to us... like nutella, ferrero... etc. Little gal is having pimple outbreak, so chocolate and its cousin is a no no, so we narrowed to something fruity... got to try one flavour, then decided to have raspberry since it seems to be the most popular choice.

Hmm... they were saying gelato is a healthier alternative to ice cream cos it has lower sugar content and it doesn't use dairy product. It tastes like ice, it tastes like.... SLURPEE!!

$2.80 for a cup... okay not too often.
