barely button
One day my mother rode the elevator at my block. She pressed the button with her finger. Later she rubbed her nose with the same finger, and she could smell cigarette on her finger...
What if someone digs his/her nose often? The button will kena the nose crap, then the next person's finger will get the crap, then he/she digs his/her nose, then his/her nose will get other people's crap, etc etc etc...
So, make sure you are the first person in the food (crap) chain.

Reminds me... you know the door to the public toilet, some people don't wash their hands after they've gone to pee or shit and I've witnessed people who come out and then left without washing their hands. Imagine I wash my hands liao then I have to go touch that dirty door... Gross. Wash hands like never wash in the end...

the trick is not to know what happens to anything before you come into contact with it. if you want to start the paranoid tales, there're many things that can give one shivers.
coins, we never know where they might have been before. they might even have once been dropped into a bowl of shit and we can never know... *shivers*

coins and money are the most dirty things ever. almost.
someone once did a research, i don't have the article now, but you can google for it, that money contains the highest percentage of bacteria, or something like that.
go cashless ba... hehehe~ keep plastics, at least you know it's yours, and you can wash and sterilise them when you think it's dirty. lol~

HENG ARH!
I live on the 4th level and I don't take lifts.
What are MRT seats? Don't you find it disgusting when you sit on one which is still warm? Like the previous passenger warmed it with lotsa 'gas'...

xxoos: remember to scrub hard on the magnetic strip of the card... and maybe try to remove the rust on the microchip...
but I agree fully on the money part.
missy: warm means UHT sterilised. Cold seat doesn't mean it is cleaner than warm ones.
dj: although it is illegal, but I've seen people use notes as rough paper... machiam like postit pad.
