seriously if there's such a brand, if you will refer here: http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/virgin you will find the meaning for virgin as "Obtained directly from the first pressing: virgin olive oil". I suppose they added the "extra" in front for commercial purposes, create the illusion that it is even purer than just "virgin olive oil".
hehz, don't know... Extraordinary means "Highly exceptional; remarkable", "beyond what is ordinary or usual" lorz.. hehz, all from dictionary.com. English language is like that. Some person long ago decided that it should be used this way so we use it this way in this age. Do you know that some meanings of words have changed drastically? From really negative meanings to really good ones and vice-versa. You'd be surprised. Plus if let's say we made up a word and go around using it in your sentences when talking to people, it would catch on pretty quickly. You could try doing it since your blog has quite a number of readers and next time you hear somebody using that word you made up, you will know that either that person him/herself or somebody he/she is acquainted with has read your blog. =)
