in case of emergency, break glass

Have you seen those doors with security system, which you have to tap card from outside, and press the fat button from inside in order to open the door?

So last Saturday, a staff from my company somehow entered this protected room, but couldn't figure out a way to come out. There is no phone in the room cos it's a storeroom, and the guy didn't carry a phone with him, and no one was in sight outside the room. That guy paniced and broke the glass to escape.

All he had to do was to press that fat button beside the door to open it...
