man of runaway buses

Went to watch the musical Man of Letters at University Cultural Centre last night with Stephanie.

The story is set in the turbulent year of 1955, about a poetic nerd Ming (not the orangutan from zoo) from medical fac having a crush on a girl Roseanne from arts fac, amidst the unrest on the streets (thanks to my alma mater). Click HERE to hear that man (nerd)'s letter, written by Dick Lee.

That's my first time stepping into the main hall of UCC. Our seats were at the CAT D of the Grand Circle, kind of special cos we could see the underground activities of NUS Symphony Orchestra. BUT, we had to lean out to see the blind spot on the right side of the stage, sometimes Stephanie had to lean so far out I scare she would fall off... -_-" Anyway happens at Esplanade too, so not complaining. (I mean the blindspot thingy, not the falling off!)

As for the Man of Runaway Buses, that's the guy who missed a 96 before the show, missed a 151 after the show, and missed the last bus after the 151. This is more sad huh? =P
