swing girls

Watched this Japanese movie a while ago (during exam period -_-")It's humour + motivation + music all in one movie~ It is rare to see motivational movie nowadays...

The story is about a group of high school girls who had to attend maths remedial during summer holiday. Somehow they were responsible for the food poisoning of the whole school brass band, so they had to stand in for the band to cheer for the school baseball team. At first they were half-hearted, but the moment they got in love with music, the school band returned... a few of the girls still stick together to play gig around the town, and they even formed a big band playing jazz in an inter school band competition.

Most of the funny scenes came from that plump girl who later became the drummer of the group. At the beginning she was seen eating packets of snacks and using those belly slimming belt at the same time in the class room. Then another scene she fell down from a tree and her butt cracked the skull of a wild pig.. =_=

Seriously you should watch this movie.
